Description
These green lentils come from the commune of Le Puy-en-Velay, in the Auvergne region of France, and have been grown there for over 2,000 years. They are claimed to have gastronomic qualities that come from the terroir, attributed to the area’s volcanic soil, and are praised for their unique peppery flavour and ability to retain their shape after cooking.
